The upcoming 2004 Tiens (Malaysia)
International Annual Convention won wide attention from Malaysian
media. With strong interests in Tiens and many questions about
it, reporters from Sin Chew Daily, Nanyang Siang Pau, Business
World, See Hua Daily News and Stars interviewed Mr. Li Jinyuan,
President of Tiens Group. After President Li Jinyuan briefed
the development of Tiens in recent years, reporters focused
their questions on its developing orientation and plan in the
future. President Li Jinyuan declared his ambitious development
strategy, “Tiens Group aims to integrate manufacture, logistics
and network marketing, give full play to their advantages and
operate them in a supermarket style so as to maximize all the
integrated resources and ensure Tiens’ healthy and orderly development
in a long term.” He said that to lay a good foundation for development,
Tiens Group would invest US$ 2 billion in 10 major marketing
regions from 2005 to 2007. It would annex and purchase many
enterprises of healthcare food, healthcare equipments, chemical
commodities, and then allocate the capital step by step to strive
for companies to be listed in 10 major marketing regions respectively.

When reporters asked why Tiens
Group stressed the development in Malaysia, President Li Jinyuan
explained that the development in Malaysia is the key element
to realize the global development strategy of Tiens Group. Malaysia
is a direct selling kingdom gathering many direct selling elites.
Tiens Group would take the advantages to expand its business
to other neighbor countries on the base of the development in
Malaysia.

After that, President Li Jinyuan
answered many questions from reporters. Since there were many
reporters, the interview had two separate parts: one in English
and the other in Chinese, and lasted more than two hours.
