The First Lady of Nigeria was attracted by Tiens’ prize
(2005-01-22)

Having a private airplane, a private yacht, or an advanced house, all above should be a longing of everyone, certainly including Mrs. Stella Obasanjo, the first lady of Nigeria. During her meeting with Mr. Li Jinyuan, Board Chairman and President of Tiens Group, Mrs. Stella Obasanjo expressed her wish by telling a joke.

Before the welcoming ceremony of the 2004 Tiens (Malaysia) International Annual Convention, Mrs. Stella Obasanjo had an interview with President Li in the hotel of Sunway Lagoon. After an exchange of conventional greetings, President Li introduced the general situation of the 2004 Tiens (Malaysia) International Annual Convention to Mrs. Stella Obasanjo. When president Li mentioned that the prizes of Tiens included limousines, private airplanes, private yachts, and advanced houses, Mrs. Stella Obasanjo said in a smile, “I want the prizes, too. And I will be glad to get all of them together today.” The most interesting thing is that, the winner of “Special Prize for Tiens Elites” will get all these articles together, so persons on the scene all laughed loudly. At this time, President Li played a joke, and he said, “It will be OK if you become the distributor of Tiens and get an outstanding achievement as well.” And Mrs. Stella Obasanjo answered at once, “All right, I will join in Tiens as soon as I go home”; and her words made everyone have a good laugh again.

Afterwards, President Li made an introduction of Tiens’ developing plan, and then he expressed that he would invest to build factories in Nigeria in the future, so all guests from Nigeria, including Mrs. Stella Obasanjo, offered him a storm of applause without prior consultation.
