On the following day of 2004 Tiens (Malaysia) International Annual Convention, Mr. Li Jinyuan, Board Chairman and President of Tiens Group met YB Datuk Shafie Apdal, Minister of Malaysian Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs, with the companion of Mr. Yan Yupeng, Vice President of Tiens Group and President of Tiens International Marketing Group, Dr. Mustapha, Board Chairman of Tiens Malaysia and Mr. Li Lin, General Manager of Tiens Southeast Asia.

During the talk, President Li Jinyuan introduced the development of Tiens and recommended some products. Minister YB Datuk Shafie Apdal was interested in Tiens Group. He said Malaysia is a direct selling kingdom with the advanced direct selling industry. The internationalization companies such as Tiens Group entering the Malaysian market must bring along precious experience and promote the development of the local direct selling industry. He also introduced the status of direct selling industry in Malaysia.

When the talk was over, President Li Jinyuan presented Minister YB Datuk Shafie Apda a golden lion statue and his book New Replacement Theory, much appreciated by the Minister. Lastly, the host and guests took photos together.
